Genesys Works Chicago

When you join Genesys Works, you gain access to a community dedicated to making your career aspirations a reality. If accepted into the program, you will have the opportunity to participate in:

A Summer Training program to learn the skills that you will need to succeed in the corporate world.
One-on-one coaching and guidance with college applications, scholarships, and financial aid.
A paid internship at a corporate partner throughout your senior year.

Genesys Works is a significant time commitment. Most of our students work in the afternoon during their senior year, which means we ask you to choose between Genesys works and other extracurricular activities like after school clubs and sports.

Will you be available to work in an internship 4 hours a day after school (typically 1-5 PM Monday through Friday) during your senior year?

Acknowledgement of Program Details

I understand and acknowledge the following expectations as a Genesys Works applicant:

1. The Summer Training program is paid.

2. The Summer Training schedule is hybrid. Students are expected to be online for two days of training and in-person for 3 days of training a week.

3. A paid, year-long internship placement is not guaranteed upon completion of the Summer Training program. Internship placement is determined by factors such as active participation, consistent attendance, demonstration of initiative, and quality of work submitted.

4. If selected for an internship, I am committing to a minimum of 20 hours of work per week. The internship schedule will be Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

5. Internships are primarily in-person, unless otherwise communicated by Genesys Works. If selected for an internship, I am able and willing to commute to my internship site for all required in-office days.
