Genesys Works Bay Area

When you join Genesys Works, you gain access to a community dedicated to making your career aspirations a reality. If accepted into the program, you will have the opportunity to participate in:

A Summer Training program to learn the skills that you will need to succeed in the corporate world.
One-on-one coaching and guidance with college applications, scholarships, and financial aid.
A paid internship at a corporate partner throughout your senior year.

Genesys Works is a significant time commitment. Most of our students work in the afternoon during their senior year, which means we ask you to choose between Genesys Works and other extracurricular activities like after school clubs and sports.

Will you be available to work in an internship 4 hours a day, Monday through Friday during your senior year? (Internship work hours take place between the hours of 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM).

Acknowledgement of Program Details

I understand and acknowledge the following expectations as a Genesys Works applicant:

1. The the Summer Training program is unpaid.

2. The Summer Training program is hybrid - participants are expected to attend in person 2 days a week and virtually the other days.

2. A paid, year-long internship placement is not guaranteed upon completion of the Summer Training program. Internship placement is determined by factors such as active participation, consistent attendance, demonstration of initiative, and quality of work submitted.

3. Participants must fulfill the minimum class requirements during their senior year.

4. Internships are primarily in person, unless explicitly stated otherwise by Genesys Works.

5. If selected for an internship, participants commit to a minimum of 20 hours of work per week. The internship work hours will take place Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
